We harvest monthly and our cattle are prepared upon order. The week before your delivery, our team will send you an update with your exact delivery day and delivery timeframe. On the scheduled day, we’ll deliver your premium cuts right to your door, ready for you to enjoy.

The amount listed above is your deposit, which secures your share of our upcoming beef boxes.

As each cow is unique, your final invoice is based on the actual dressed weight of your portion (less your deposit amount). This will be calculated and invoiced approximately 10 days prior to delivery.

Dressed weight, hook weight, and hanging weight are commonly used terms in the meat industry to describe the weight of an animal after it has been harvested. Dressed weight is not the same as delivered weight.

Dressed weight refers to the weight of the animal after the head, hooves, internal organs, and other inedible parts have been removed, but before further processing or trimming occurs. This metric is widely used in the meat industry as it helps determine the amount of usable meat obtained from the animal and is also used to calculate the price, as meat is typically sold by weight. The weight provided by the processor is used to calculate the final price per order.

For example, if the total dressed weight of the animal was 260 kilograms and a customer ordered a quarter of the beast, they would be invoiced for 65 kilograms. However, upon delivery, they would receive approximately 53 kilograms of meat.

It's important to note that weight loss during the butchering process is normal and expected. Factors contributing to this loss include shrinkage during the dry aging process, removal of large bones, and unusable fat. This can result in a weight loss of approximately 25% to 35%.

Despite this, the delivered weight price still offers excellent value, remaining cheaper than supermarket or butcher prices. Additionally, you can enjoy the assurance of consuming premium 100% grass-fed and finished tablelands beef.

Here's a guide to the freezer space you'll need for our Bulk Beef Boxes:

We will send your final invoice approximately 10 days before delivery.

We harvest monthly and prepare orders in batches. While we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date when you order, our team will contact you as soon as your delivery is allocated. The week before delivery, we will send you the confirmed day and delivery window so you can plan ahead.

Your beef is processed, vacuum-sealed and delivered as frozen. We aim to get it to you quickly so you can enjoy the full flavour and tenderness of our 100% grass-fed and finished Tablelands beef. Most customers freeze the majority of their order straight away for long-term storage.

As our beef is processed in batches, we are unable to accommodate requests for specific cuts, packaging changes, or substitutions. Our drivers will leave your order in a safe, cool place at your delivery address (such as a shaded porch or esky you provide). We recommend having a plan in place for immediate transfer to your freezer, especially on warmer days, to keep the beef in top condition.
