Your beef is professionally butchered and vacuum-sealed into convenient portions, making it easy to store, defrost and enjoy whenever you need it.

Please note: Individual cuts and quantities may vary depending on the size of the animal and processing. Smaller allocations may contain a selection rather than every cut listed. Allergen information should be checked against the final butcher's ingredient labels.

We strive to ensure your order is delivered as fresh and as convenient as possible. While we can’t guarantee a specific delivery date at the time of your order, our team will be in touch with you as soon as possible to allocate a delivery date.

We harvest monthly and our cattle are prepared upon order. The week before your delivery, our team will send you an update with your exact delivery day and delivery timeframe. On the scheduled day, we’ll deliver your premium cuts right to your door, ready for you to enjoy.

The amount listed above is your deposit, which secures your share of our upcoming beef boxes.

As each cow is unique, your final invoice is based on the actual dressed weight of your portion (less your deposit amount). This will be calculated and invoiced approximately 10 days prior to delivery.

When purchasing beef from Tablelands Beef Co., your order is priced using dressed weight, also known as hanging or hook weight.

Dressed weight is the weight of the animal after the hide, head, hooves and internal organs have been removed, but before the beef is butchered into individual cuts.

Dressed weight is different from the weight of beef you receive.

During butchering, some weight is naturally lost through ageing, trimming and the removal of excess fat and bones.

How Does This Affect My Order?

For example, if an animal has a dressed weight of 320 kg and you purchase a 1/4 Beef Box:

• Your dressed weight allocation: 80 kg
• Price: $19.99/kg dressed weight
• Total cost: $1,599
• Estimated packaged beef and bones: 70 kg

Your final price is calculated using the actual dressed weight recorded by our processor.

The amount shown at checkout is your deposit. This secures your share of the upcoming beef boxes. Because every animal is unique, we calculate your final invoice based on the actual dressed weight of your portion, minus the deposit you have already paid. We will send your final invoice approximately 10 days before delivery.

We harvest monthly and prepare orders in batches. While we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date when you order, our team will contact you as soon as your delivery is allocated. The week before delivery, we will send you the confirmed day and delivery window so you can plan ahead.

Your beef is processed, vacuum-sealed and delivered as frozen. We aim to get it to you quickly so you can enjoy the full flavour and tenderness of our 100% grass-fed and finished Tablelands beef. Most customers freeze the majority of their order straight away for long-term storage.

Dressed weight (also called hook weight or hanging weight) is the weight of the animal after the head, hooves, internal organs and other inedible parts have been removed, but before further butchering and trimming. It is the standard measurement used in the meat industry to calculate how much usable beef comes from each animal and is the figure we use to work out your final price.

To ensure every customer receives a consistent, high-quality selection, our boxes are prepared to a carefully developed standard specification. As our beef is processed in batches, we are unable to accommodate requests for specific cuts, packaging changes, or substitutions. If you have any food allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us prior to placing your order. We'll do our best to advise whether our products are suitable for your needs

Our drivers will leave your order in a safe, cool place at your delivery address (such as a shaded porch or esky you provide). We recommend having a plan in place for immediate transfer to your freezer, especially on warmer days, to keep the beef in top condition.
